วิธีดังบัญญัติไว้ในมาตราต่อ ๆ ไปนี้ ท่านให้ใช้บังคับแก่การประชุมใหญ่ เว้นแต่จะมีข้อบังคับของบริษัทกำหนดไว้เป็นข้อความขัดกันมาตรา ๑๑๗๘[73] การประชุมใหญ่ต้องมีผู้ถือหุ้นหรือผู้รับมอบฉันทะจากผู้ถือหุ้นเข้าร่วมประชุมกันไม่น้อยกว่าสองคนและมีจำนวนหุ้นนับรวมกันได้ไม่น้อยกว่าหนึ่งในสี่แห่งทุนของบริษัท จึงจะสามารถลงมติในเรื่องใด ๆ ได้
