English Translation
Section 5. A foreigner shall be prohibited from operating businesses specified in List One annexed to this Act for special reasons.
Expert Commentary / คำอธิบาย
EN: List One contains businesses absolutely prohibited to foreigners. No license or permission can be granted for these activities. These are considered fundamental to Thai sovereignty and cultural identity, including newspaper businesses, radio broadcasting, rice farming, fishery, forestry, and land trading.
