English Translation
Section 44. A foreigner under Section 43 shall apply for a license or certificate under this Act within the period prescribed by ministerial regulation. If the application is not filed within the prescribed period, the prior authorization shall be deemed terminated.
Expert Commentary / คำอธิบาย
EN: The ministerial regulation prescribed a one-year transition period from 4 March 2000. Businesses that failed to re-apply within this window lost their grandfathered status and had to either cease operations or apply anew under the stricter provisions of the FBA.
