English Translation
Section 23. A foreigner operating a business under the lists annexed to this Act who has been granted permission under a treaty to which Thailand is a party shall obtain a Foreign Business Certificate from the Director-General.

EN: This section is particularly relevant for US nationals and companies operating under the Treaty of Amity and Economic Relations between Thailand and the United States (1966). Unlike a license, a certificate is obtained as of right once treaty eligibility is established.
