ถ้าการกระทำความผิดตามมาตรา ๒๗๘ หรือมาตรา ๒๗๙ ได้กระทำโดยมีหรือใช้อาวุธปืนหรือวัตถุระเบิด ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกตั้งแต่หนึ่งปีถึงสิบห้าปี และปรับตั้งแต่สองหมื่นบาทถึงสามแสนบาท
ถ้าการกระทำความผิดตามมาตรา ๒๗๘ หรือมาตรา ๒๗๙ เป็นเหตุให้ผู้ถูกกระทำรับอันตรายสาหัส ผู้กระทำต้องระวางโทษจำคุกตั้งแต่ห้าปีถึงยี่สิบปี และปรับตั้งแต่หนึ่งแสนบาทถึงสี่แสนบาท
ถ้าการกระทำความผิดตามมาตรา ๒๗๘ หรือมาตรา ๒๗๙ เป็นเหตุให้ผู้ถูกกระทำถึงแก่ความตาย ผู้กระทำต้องระวางโทษประหารชีวิต หรือจำคุกตลอดชีวิต

If the commission of the offence under Section 278 or Section 279 is committed by having or using a firearm or explosive, the offender shall be punished with imprisonment of one to fifteen years and fined of twenty thousand to three hundred thousand Baht.
If the commission of the offence under Section 278 or Section 279 causes the victim to suffer grievous bodily harm, the offender shall be punished with imprisonment of five to twenty years and fined of one hundred thousand to four hundred thousand Baht.
If the commission of the offence under Section 278 or Section 279 causes the victim to die, the offender shall be punished with death or imprisonment for life.
If the commission of the offence under Section 278 or Section 279 causes the victim to suffer grievous bodily harm, the offender shall be punished with imprisonment of five to twenty years and fined of one hundred thousand to four hundred thousand Baht.
If the commission of the offence under Section 278 or Section 279 causes the victim to die, the offender shall be punished with death or imprisonment for life.
