ถ้าผู้เช่าไม่ชำระค่าเช่า ผู้ให้เช่าจะบอกเลิกสัญญาเสียก็ได้แต่ถ้าค่าเช่านั้นจะพึงส่งเป็นรายเดือน หรือส่งเป็นระยะเวลายาวกว่ารายเดือนขึ้นไป ผู้ให้เช่าต้องบอกกล่าวแก่ผู้เช่าก่อนว่าให้ชำระค่าเช่าภายในเวลาใด ซึ่งพึงกำหนดอย่าให้น้อยกว่าสิบห้าวัน

In case of non-payment of rent, the letter may terminate the contract. But, if the rent is payable at monthly or longer intervals, the letter must first notify the hirer that payment is required within a period not less than fifteen days.
