บรรดาอายุความหรือระยะเวลาที่บทบัญญัติในประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ได้กำหนดไว้ก่อนวันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ หากยังไม่สิ้นสุดลงในวันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ และอายุความหรือระยะเวลาที่กำหนดขึ้นใหม่นั้นแตกต่างกับอายุความหรือระยะเวลาที่กำหนดไว้เดิม ก็ให้นำอายุความหรือระยะเวลาที่ยาวกว่ามาบังคับหมายเหตุ :- เหตุผลในการประกาศใช้พระราชบัญญัติฉบับนี้ คือ โดยที่บทบัญญัติ
