Two land-border entries per calendar year: the counter does not reset on 15 September

Clause 3 of the new thirty-day notification limits visa-exempt entry through a designated channel of an immigration checkpoint, or at a land-border checkpoint, to not more than twice per calendar year. Nationals of Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia and Singapore are excepted, and the Minister may designate other nationalities.
