อันการใช้เงินเพื่อแก้หน้าย่อมมีได้ในบรรดากรณีซึ่งผู้ทรงมีสิทธิไล่เบี้ยเมื่อตั๋วเงินถึงกำหนดหรือก่อนถึงกำหนดการใช้เงินนั้น ท่านว่าอย่างช้าที่สุดต้องทำในวันรุ่งขึ้น แต่วันท้ายแห่งกำหนดเวลาซึ่งจำกัดอนุญาตไว้ให้ทำคำคัดค้านการไม่ใช้เงิน
