ผู้สั่งจ่ายจะเขียนข้อความกำหนดลงไว้ว่าจำนวนเงินอันจะพึงใช้นั้นให้คิดดอกเบี้ยด้วยก็ได้ และในกรณีเช่นนั้น ถ้ามิได้กล่าวลงไว้เป็นอย่างอื่น ท่านว่าดอกเบี้ยย่อมคิดแต่วันที่ลงในตั๋วเงิน
