อันการรับรองนั้นย่อมมีได้สองสถาน คือ รับรองตลอดไป หรือรับรองเบี่ยงบ่ายการรับรองตลอดไป คือยอมตกลงโดยไม่แก้แย้งคำสั่งของผู้สั่งจ่ายแต่อย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดเลยส่วนการรับรองเบี่ยงบ่ายนั้น กล่าวเป็นเนื้อความทำผลแห่งตั๋วเงินให้แผกไปจากที่เขียนสั่งไว้กล่าวโดยเฉพาะก็คือว่า ถ้าคำรับรองมีเงื่อนไขก็ดี หรือรับรองแต่เพียงบางส่วนก็ดี ท่านว่าเป็นรับรองเบี่ยงบ่าย
