อันการรับรองนั้นย่อมมีได้สองสถาน คือ รับรองตลอดไป หรือรับรองเบี่ยงบ่ายการรับรองตลอดไป คือยอมตกลงโดยไม่แก้แย้งคำสั่งของผู้สั่งจ่ายแต่อย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดเลยส่วนการรับรองเบี่ยงบ่ายนั้น กล่าวเป็นเนื้อความทำผลแห่งตั๋วเงินให้แผกไปจากที่เขียนสั่งไว้กล่าวโดยเฉพาะก็คือว่า ถ้าคำรับรองมีเงื่อนไขก็ดี หรือรับรองแต่เพียงบางส่วนก็ดี ท่านว่าเป็นรับรองเบี่ยงบ่าย

English translation
Acceptance is either general or qualified. A general acceptance assents without qualification to the order of the drawer. A qualified acceptance in express terms varies the effect of the bill as drawn. In particular, an acceptance is qualified if it is conditional or partial.
