การรับรองนั้นพึงกระทำด้วยเขียนลงไว้ในด้านหน้าแห่งตั๋วแลกเงินเป็นถ้อยคำสำนวนว่า “รับรองแล้ว” หรือความอย่างอื่นทำนองเช่นเดียวกันนั้น และลงลายมือชื่อของผู้จ่าย อนึ่ง แต่เพียงลงลายมือชื่อของผู้จ่ายลงไว้ในด้านหน้าแห่งตั๋วแลกเงิน ท่านก็จัดว่าเป็นคำรับรองแล้ว
