การรับรองนั้นพึงกระทำด้วยเขียนลงไว้ในด้านหน้าแห่งตั๋วแลกเงินเป็นถ้อยคำสำนวนว่า “รับรองแล้ว” หรือความอย่างอื่นทำนองเช่นเดียวกันนั้น และลงลายมือชื่อของผู้จ่าย อนึ่ง แต่เพียงลงลายมือชื่อของผู้จ่ายลงไว้ในด้านหน้าแห่งตั๋วแลกเงิน ท่านก็จัดว่าเป็นคำรับรองแล้ว

English translation
Acceptance is made by writing on the face of the bill of exchange the word "accepted", or words to the like effect, together with the signature of the drawee. The mere signature of the drawee on the face of the bill is also deemed to be an acceptance.
