การขายทอดตลาดย่อมบริบูรณ์ เมื่อผู้ทอดตลาดแสดงความตกลงด้วยเคาะไม้ หรือด้วยกิริยาอื่นอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งตามจารีตประเพณีในการขายทอดตลาด ถ้ายังมิได้แสดงเช่นนั้นอยู่ตราบใด ท่านว่าผู้สู้ราคาจะถอนคำสู้ราคาของตนเสียก็ยังถอนได้
