If you’ve ever looked into owning property in Thailand as a foreigner, you’ve probably heard about leases, usufructs, and company structures. But there’s one option that almost nobody talks about: แซปปิ้งซิธ (สิทธิเก็บกิน).
Introduced by law in 2019, Sap-ing-sith rights allow foreigners to essentially own land and a house, not technically as “ownership,” but with nearly all the same benefits. The right is valid for 30 ปี และสามารถต่ออายุได้
