เท่านั้น ขอให้เพิกถอนการสมรสได้สิทธิขอเพิกถอนการสมรสตามมาตรานี้เป็นอันระงับเมื่อคู่สมรสนั้นมีอายุครบยี่สิบปีบริบูรณ์หรือในกรณีการสมรสระหว่างชายหญิง เมื่อหญิงมีครรภ์[194] การฟ้องขอเพิกถอนการสมรสตามมาตรานี้ให้มีอายุความหนึ่งปีนับแต่วันทราบการสมรส
