When both spouses agree and the marriage is registered in Thailand, the divorce is done in one visit to a district office: no court, no waiting period. What matters is the agreement you bring with you, because the registrar records it but does not check it for you. This pack gives you two documents: the agreement itself, and plain instructions to complete it and register the divorce correctly.
1. The Divorce Settlement Agreement
Word file to fill in on your computer and PDF to fill in by hand, English and Thai clause by clause, with initials boxes on every page, a signature page for both spouses and two witnesses, and three schedules.
- Consent to divorce and registration at the district office
- Division of the marital property, with the options when land in Thailand cannot go to a foreign spouse
