บุริมสิทธิในมูลรักษาอสังหาริมทรัพย์นั้นใช้สำหรับเอาค่าใช้จ่ายเพื่อรักษาอสังหาริมทรัพย์ และมีอยู่เหนืออสังหาริมทรัพย์อันนั้น อนึ่งบทบัญญัติแห่งมาตรา ๒๖๙ วรรคสองนั้น ท่านให้นำมาใช้บังคับแก่กรณีที่กล่าวมาในวรรคก่อนนี้ด้วย

English translation
The preferential right on account of the preservation of an immovable is for the expense of preservation of an immovable, and is in such immovable. In case of the foregoing paragraph the provisions of Section 269 paragraph 2 apply correspondingly.
