สินค้าซึ่งเก็บรักษาไว้นั้นอาจจำนำได้แต่ด้วยสลักหลังประทวนสินค้า เมื่อประทวนสินค้าได้สลักหลังแล้ว สินค้านั้นจะจำนำแก่ผู้อื่นอีกชั้นหนึ่งด้วยสลักหลังใบรับของคลังสินค้าอย่างเดียวกับสลักหลังประทวนสินค้านั้นก็ได้

English translation
The goods stored may be pledged only by endorsement of the warrant. When the warrant has been endorsed, the goods may be further pledged to another person by endorsement of the warehouse receipt in the same manner as the endorsement of the warrant.
