อันการถึงกำหนดแห่งตั๋วแลกเงินซึ่งสั่งให้ใช้เงินเมื่อสิ้นระยะเวลาอันใดอันหนึ่งนับแต่วันได้เห็นนั้น ท่านให้กำหนดนับแต่วันรับรอง หรือวันคัดค้านถ้าไม่มีคำคัดค้าน และคำรับรองมิได้ลงวัน ท่านให้ถือว่าผู้รับรองได้ให้คำรับรองนั้นในวันท้ายแห่งกำหนดเวลาซึ่งจำกัดไว้ตามกฎหมาย หรือตามสัญญาเพื่อการยื่นตั๋วนั้น

English translation
The maturity of a bill of exchange payable at a fixed period after sight is determined from the date of acceptance or from the date of protest. If there is no protest and the acceptance is not dated, the acceptor is deemed to have given his acceptance on the last day of the period allowed by law or by agreement for presentment.
