Après liquidation, le solde de l'actif, le cas échéant, ne pourra être distribué entre les membres de l'association. Il sera transféré à une autre association, fondation ou personne morale à but non lucratif, désignée par les statuts ou par résolution de l'assemblée générale. À défaut de désignation d'un bénéficiaire, que ce soit par les statuts ou par résolution de l'assemblée générale, ou si un bénéficiaire désigné se trouve dans l'impossibilité de s'y conformer, le solde de l'actif reviendra à l'État.
