ค่าใช้จ่ายอันเป็นการจรนั้น ท่านว่าเจ้าของต้องเป็นผู้ออก แต่เพื่อจะออกค่าใช้จ่ายเช่นว่านี้ หรือค่าใช้จ่ายตามความในมาตราก่อน เจ้าของจะจำหน่ายทรัพย์สินบางส่วนก็ได้ เว้นแต่ผู้ทรงสิทธิเก็บกินจะเต็มใจทดรองเงินตามที่จำเป็นโดยไม่คิดดอกเบี้ย

Tous les frais extraordinaires doivent être supportés par le propriétaire, mais afin de couvrir ces frais ou ceux relevant de l'article précédent, il peut réaliser une partie du bien à moins que l'usufruitier ne soit disposé à avancer les fonds nécessaires sans exiger d'intérêts.
