ให้ผู้ปกครองรีบทำบัญชีทรัพย์สินของผู้อยู่ในปกครองให้เสร็จภายในสามเดือนนับแต่วันที่ทราบคำสั่งตั้งของศาล แต่ผู้ปกครองจะร้องต่อศาลก่อนสิ้นกำหนดขอให้ยืดเวลาก็ได้ บัญชีนั้นต้องมีพยานรับรองความถูกต้องอย่างน้อยสองคน พยานสองคนนั้นต้องเป็นผู้บรรลุนิติภาวะและเป็นญาติของผู้อยู่ในปกครอง แต่ถ้าหาญาติไม่ได้จะให้ผู้อื่นเป็นพยานก็ได้

Le tuteur doit dresser sans délai l'inventaire des biens du pupille dans les trois mois suivant la date à laquelle il a connaissance de sa nomination par le tribunal. Ce délai peut être prolongé sur demande du tuteur auprès du tribunal avant son expiration. L'inventaire est établi en présence d'au moins deux témoins, majeurs et apparentés au pupille. À défaut de parenté, d'autres personnes peuvent être témoins.
