Pour calculer l'âge d'une personne, on se base sur le jour de sa naissance. Si seul le mois de naissance est connu, on considère le premier jour de ce mois comme la date de naissance. S'il est impossible de déterminer la date de naissance, l'âge est calculé à partir du premier jour de l'année civile au cours de laquelle la naissance a eu lieu.
