สัญญาจำนองนั้นต้องมีจำนวนเงินระบุไว้เป็นเรือนเงินไทยเป็นจำนวนแน่ตรงตัว หรือจำนวนขั้นสูงสุดที่ได้เอาทรัพย์สินจำนองนั้นตราไว้เป็นประกัน
