L'exécution d'une même obligation peut être garantie par l'hypothèque de plusieurs biens appartenant à un ou plusieurs propriétaires. Les parties peuvent convenir : (1) que le créancier hypothécaire exercera son droit sur les biens hypothéqués selon un ordre précis ; (2) que chaque bien ne constitue une garantie que pour une fraction déterminée de l'obligation.
