ถ้าได้แยกประทวนสินค้าออกสลักหลังจำนำแล้ว จะรับเอาสินค้าได้แต่เมื่อเวนคืนทั้งใบรับของคลังสินค้าและประทวนสินค้าแต่ว่าผู้ทรงใบรับของคลังสินค้าอาจให้คืนสินค้าแก่ตนได้ในเวลาใด ๆ เมื่อวางเงินแก่นายคลังสินค้าเต็มจำนวนหนี้ซึ่งลงไว้ในประทวนสินค้า กับทั้งดอกเบี้ยจนถึงวันกำหนดชำระหนี้นั้นด้วยอนึ่ง จำนวนเงินที่วางเช่นนี้นายคลังสินค้าต้องชำระแก่ผู้ทรงประทวนสินค้าในเมื่อเขาเวนคืนประทวนนั้น

English translation
If the warrant has been detached and endorsed by way of pledge, the goods may be taken away only on surrender of both the warehouse receipt and the warrant. However, the holder of the warehouse receipt may obtain the return of the goods at any time by depositing with the warehouseman the full amount of the debt entered on the warrant, together with interest up to the date on which that debt falls due. The warehouseman must pay the sum so deposited to the holder of the warrant on surrender of the warrant.
