Les accessoires sont des biens meubles qui, selon l'usage local ou la volonté manifeste du propriétaire du bien principal, sont attachés à ce dernier de manière permanente pour sa gestion, son usage ou sa conservation, et qui, par raccordement, ajustement ou tout autre moyen, sont mis en relation avec le bien principal, relation dans laquelle ils doivent lui être subordonnés. Même si un accessoire est temporairement subordonné au bien principal, il conserve sa qualité d'accessoire. Sauf disposition contraire, l'accessoire suit le bien principal.
