เมื่อได้ปฏิบัติตามมาตรา ๑๖๒๕ (๑) แล้ว ให้คิดส่วนแบ่งทรัพย์มรดกระหว่างทายาทโดยธรรม ดังต่อไปนี้ (๑) ทรัพย์มรดกนั้นให้แบ่งแก่ทายาทตามลำดับและชั้นต่าง ๆ ดังที่บัญญัติไว้ในหมวด ๒ แห่งลักษณะนี้ (๒) ส่วนแบ่งอันจะได้แก่ทายาทในลำดับและชั้นต่าง ๆ นั้น ให้แบ่งในระหว่างบรรดาทายาทในลำดับและชั้นนั้น ๆ ดังที่บัญญัติไว้ในหมวด ๓ แห่งลักษณะนี้

After Section 1625 (1) has been complied with, the division of the estate between the statutory heirs shall be as follows: (1) the estate will be divided between the several classes and degrees of heirs as provided in Chapter II of this Title; (2) the proportion accruing to each class and degree shall be divided between the heirs of such class and degree, as provided in Chapter III of this Title.
