Une personne en faveur de laquelle existe une obligation fondée sur l'un des motifs suivants bénéficie d'un droit préférentiel sur certains biens meubles du débiteur : (1) Location d'un immeuble. (2) Hébergement en auberge. (3) Transport de passagers ou de marchandises. (4) Conservation de biens meubles. (5) Vente de biens meubles. (6) Fourniture de semences, de jeunes plants ou d'engrais.
