Un dépôt doit être effectué auprès du bureau de dépôt ou du lieu d'exécution de l'obligation. En l'absence de dispositions légales ou réglementaires spécifiques relatives aux bureaux de dépôt, le tribunal, saisi par le débiteur, désigne un bureau de dépôt et nomme un dépositaire du bien déposé. Le déposant doit informer sans délai le créancier du dépôt.
