ถ้าในระหว่างอายุสัญญาประกันภัยนั้น มูลประกันภัยได้ลดน้อยถอยลงไปหนักไซร้ ท่านว่าผู้เอาประกันภัยชอบที่จะได้ลดจำนวนเงินซึ่งเอาประกันภัยไว้ และลดจำนวนเงินเบี้ยประกันภัยการลดจำนวนเบี้ยประกันภัยนั้น ให้เป็นผลต่อในอนาคต

English translation
Where, during the currency of the contract, the insurable interest has substantially decreased, the insured is entitled to a reduction of the sum insured and of the premium. The reduction of the premium takes effect only for the future.
