อันสัญญาประกันภัยในการรับขนนั้น ถึงแม้การขนส่งจะต้องสะดุดหยุดลงชั่วขณะหรือจะต้องเปลี่ยนทางหรือเปลี่ยนวิธีขนส่งอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดโดยเหตุจำเป็นในระหว่างส่งเดินทางก็ดี ท่านว่าสัญญานั้นก็ย่อมคงเป็นอันสมบูรณ์อยู่ เว้นแต่จะได้ระบุไว้ในสัญญาเป็นอย่างอื่น

English translation
A contract of insurance on carriage remains valid even if the carriage is temporarily interrupted, or the route or method of carriage is changed of necessity during the journey, unless the contract provides otherwise.
