อันตั๋วแลกเงินนั้น ถ้าเขาจะใช้เงินให้แต่เพียงบางส่วน ท่านว่าผู้ทรงจะบอกปัดเสียไม่ยอมรับเอาก็ได้ถ้าและรับเอาเงินที่เขาใช้แต่เพียงบางส่วน ผู้ทรงต้องบันทึกข้อความนั้นลงไว้ในตั๋วเงิน และส่งมอบใบรับให้แก่ผู้ใช้เงิน

English translation
Where payment of only part of a bill of exchange is offered, the holder may refuse to take it. If the holder accepts part payment, he must record the fact on the bill and give a receipt to the person paying.
