Il est présumé qu'une date de début ou de fin est fixée au bénéfice du débiteur, à moins qu'il ne ressorte du libellé de l'acte ou des circonstances de l'espèce qu'elle était destinée au bénéfice du créancier, ou des deux parties. Le bénéfice de cette date peut être renoncé, sans que cela n'affecte les avantages qui pourraient en découler pour l'autre partie.
