บัญชีทรัพย์สินตามมาตรา ๕๐ และมาตรา ๕๒ ต้องมีพยานลงลายมือชื่อรับรองความถูกต้องอย่างน้อยสองคน พยานสองคนนั้นต้องเป็นคู่สมรสหรือญาติของผู้ไม่อยู่ซึ่งบรรลุนิติภาวะแล้ว แต่ถ้าไม่มีคู่สมรสหรือหาญาติไม่ได้ หรือคู่สมรสและญาติไม่ยอมเป็นพยาน จะให้ผู้อื่นซึ่งบรรลุนิติภาวะแล้วเป็นพยานก็ได้

L'inventaire prévu aux articles 50 et 52 doit être dressé en présence de deux témoins et signé par eux. Ces deux témoins doivent être le conjoint ou un parent majeur de la personne absente. Si ni le conjoint ni les parents ne sont disponibles, ou si le conjoint et le parent refusent de témoigner, d'autres personnes majeures peuvent faire office de témoins.
