ผู้ทรงจะเรียกร้องเอาเงินใช้จากบุคคลซึ่งตนใช้สิทธิไล่เบี้ยนั้นก็ได้ คือ (๑) จำนวนเงินในตั๋วแลกเงินซึ่งเขาไม่รับรองหรือไม่ใช้กับทั้งดอกเบี้ยด้วย หากว่ามีข้อกำหนดไว้ว่าให้คิดดอกเบี้ย (๒) ดอกเบี้ยอัตราร้อยละห้าต่อปีนับแต่วันถึงกำหนด (๓) ค่าใช้จ่ายในการคัดค้าน และในการส่งคำบอกกล่าวของผู้ทรงไปยังผู้สลักหลังถัดจากตนขึ้นไปและผู้สั่งจ่าย กับทั้งค่าใช้จ่ายอื่น ๆ (๔) ค่าชักส่วนลดซึ่งถ้าไม่มีข้อตกลงกันไว้ ท่านให้คิดร้อยละ ๑/๖ ในต้นเงินอันจะพึงใช้ตามตั๋วเงิน และไม่ว่ากรณีจะเป็นอย่างไร ท่านมิให้คิดสูงกว่าอัตรานี้ ถ้าใช้สิทธิไล่เบี้ยก่อนถึงกำหนด ท่านให้หักลดจำนวนเงินในตั๋วเงินลงให้ร้อยละห้า
