English translation
A party against whom the other party cites a document as evidence may object to the taking of that document as evidence on the ground that there is no original, or that the original is forged in whole or in part, or that the copy is not correct against the original, by objecting to the court before the examination of that documentary evidence is finished. If a party wishing to object has reasonable grounds by which it could not have known, before the examination of that documentary evidence was finished, that there was no original, or that the document was forged, or that the copy was incorrect, that party may file a motion for leave to object to the citing of the document at any time before the court gives judgment. If the court is of the opinion that the party could not have raised the objection earlier and the request is well founded, the court shall grant leave as requested. If a party wishing to object does not object before the examination of that documentary evidence is finished, or the court does not grant leave to object thereafter, that party is barred from contesting the existence and authenticity of the document, or the correctness of the copy. This does not, however, deprive the court of its power to inquire into and decide the existence, authenticity, or correctness when it thinks fit, nor deprive that party of the right to argue that the contract or obligation stated in the document is not valid or has been misinterpreted by the other party.

Firm annotation
Section 125 sets the mechanism and deadline for challenging a document that the opponent relies on. The permitted grounds are narrow: no original, a forged original in whole or part, or a copy that does not match the original, and the objection must be raised before the examination of that documentary evidence is finished. A late objection is possible only by leave, granted where the party could not reasonably have known the ground earlier. Failure to object in time bars any later challenge to existence, authenticity, or copy accuracy, but the court keeps a residual power to inquire on its own, and the party may still contest the validity or interpretation of the underlying obligation. It links closely to Section 122 (production of originals) and Section 126 (how disputed authenticity is decided).
Why this matters in practice
Timing is everything under Section 125: raise any no original, forgery, or wrong copy objection before the examination of that document ends, or you will usually be treated as accepting the document. Prepare your document objections before the hearing and state them on the record, because a late objection needs the court's leave and a real reason you could not object sooner. Even if you miss the deadline, you can still attack the validity of the underlying contract or debt, so distinguish the two lines of argument. This is an area where careful courtroom handling matters, so consider taking advice before trial.
