ถ้าผู้ปกครองไม่ปฏิบัติเกี่ยวแก่การทำบัญชีทรัพย์สินหรือการยื่นบัญชีทรัพย์สินให้ถูกต้องครบถ้วนตามที่บัญญัติไว้ในมาตรา ๑๕๙๒ หรือมาตรา ๑๕๙๓ หรือไม่ปฏิบัติตามคำสั่งศาลซึ่งสั่งตามมาตรา ๑๕๙๓ หรือศาลไม่พอใจในบัญชีทรัพย์สินเพราะทำขึ้นด้วยความเลินเล่ออย่างร้ายแรงหรือไม่สุจริต หรือเห็นได้ชัดว่าผู้ปกครองหย่อนความสามารถ ศาลจะสั่งถอนผู้ปกครองนั้นเสียก็ได้

Si le tuteur ne se conforme pas aux dispositions relatives à l'établissement de l'inventaire ou à la soumission d'un inventaire complet et exact tel que décrit à l'article 1592 ou à l'article 1593, ou ne se conforme pas à l'ordonnance du tribunal rendue en vertu de l'article 1593, ou si le tribunal est insatisfait de cet inventaire pour cause de négligence grave, de malhonnêteté ou d'inefficacité manifeste du tuteur, le tribunal peut révoquer le tuteur.
