Si la restitution est impossible en raison de la nature du bien reçu ou pour toute autre raison, et si le bénéficiaire était de bonne foi, il n'est tenu de restituer que la partie de son enrichissement qui subsiste au moment où la restitution est demandée. Si le bénéficiaire était de mauvaise foi, il est tenu de restituer la valeur totale du bien.
