เมื่อผู้รับจำนองคนใดจะบังคับจำนองเอาแก่ผู้รับโอนทรัพย์สินซึ่งจำนอง ผู้รับจำนองต้องมีจดหมายบอกกล่าวแก่ผู้รับโอนล่วงหน้าเป็นระยะเวลาไม่น้อยกว่าหกสิบวันก่อน จึงจะบังคับจำนองได้

When the mortgagee intends to enforce the mortgage against the transferee of a mortgaged property, the latter must be served with a written notice not less than sixty days before the enforcement of the mortgage.
