ผู้ทรงตั๋วแลกเงินอันสั่งให้ใช้เงินเมื่อสิ้นระยะเวลากำหนดอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งนับแต่ได้เห็นนั้น ต้องนำตั๋วเงินยื่นเพื่อให้รับรองภายในหกเดือนนับแต่วันที่ลงในตั๋วเงิน หรือภายในเวลาช้าเร็วกว่านั้นตามแต่ผู้สั่งจ่ายจะได้ระบุไว้

The holder of a bill of exchange payable at a fixed period after sight must present it for acceptance within six months from the date of the bill, or within such shorter or longer time as the drawer may have specified.
