อันเช็คนั้น ต้องมีรายการดังกล่าวต่อไปนี้ คือ (๑) คำบอกชื่อว่าเป็นเช็ค (๒) คำสั่งอันปราศจากเงื่อนไขให้ใช้เงินเป็นจำนวนแน่นอน (๓) ชื่อ หรือยี่ห้อและสำนักงานของธนาคาร (๔) ชื่อ หรือยี่ห้อของผู้รับเงิน หรือคำจดแจ้งว่าให้ใช้เงินแก่ผู้ถือ (๕) สถานที่ใช้เงิน (๖) วันและสถานที่ออกเช็ค (๗) ลายมือชื่อผู้สั่งจ่าย

English translation
A cheque must contain the following particulars: (1) the term "cheque"; (2) an unconditional order to pay a certain sum of money; (3) the name or business name and the office of the bank; (4) the name or business name of the payee, or a statement that it is payable to bearer; (5) the place of payment; (6) the date and place of issue of the cheque; (7) the signature of the drawer.
