ให้เจ้าพนักงานบังคับคดีมีอำนาจส่งเอกสารเกี่ยวกับการบังคับคดีตามคำพิพากษาหรือคำสั่งตามบทบัญญัติในลักษณะ ๒ แห่งภาคนี้ และให้รายงานการส่งเอกสารนั้นรวมไว้ในสำนวนการบังคับคดีด้วย ทั้งนี้ ให้นำบทบัญญัติมาตรา ๖๘ มาตรา ๗๓ มาตรา ๗๔ มาตรา ๗๖ มาตรา ๗๗ มาตรา ๗๘ และมาตรา ๘๐ มาใช้บังคับโดยอนุโลม
นอกจากการส่งเอกสารตามวรรคหนึ่ง ให้เจ้าพนักงานบังคับคดีมีอำนาจสั่งให้ส่งโดยทางไปรษณีย์ลงทะเบียนตอบรับหรือโดยทางไปรษณีย์ด่วนพิเศษในประเทศก็ได้ โดยให้ผู้มีหน้าที่นำส่งเป็นผู้เสียค่าใช้จ่าย กรณีเช่นว่านี้ ให้ถือว่าเอกสารที่ส่งโดยเจ้าพนักงานไปรษณีย์มีผลเสมือนเจ้าพนักงานบังคับคดีเป็นผู้ส่งและให้นำบทบัญญัติมาตรา ๗๔ มาตรา ๗๖ และมาตรา ๗๗ มาใช้บังคับโดยอนุโลม
ถ้าการส่งเอกสารไม่สามารถจะทำได้ดังที่บัญญัติไว้ตามวรรคหนึ่งและวรรคสอง เจ้าพนักงานบังคับคดีมีอำนาจสั่งให้ส่งโดยวิธีอื่นแทนได้ กล่าวคือ ปิดเอกสารไว้ในที่แลเห็นได้ง่าย ณ ภูมิลำเนาหรือสำนักทำการงานของบุคคลผู้มีชื่อระบุไว้ในเอกสารหรือมอบหมายเอกสารไว้แก่พนักงานฝ่ายปกครองหรือตำรวจแล้วปิดประกาศแสดงการที่ได้มอบหมายดังกล่าวแล้ว หรือลงโฆษณา หรือทำวิธีอื่นใดตามที่เห็นสมควร ทั้งนี้ ให้มีผลใช้ได้ต่อเมื่อกำหนดเวลาสิบห้าวันหรือระยะเวลานานกว่านั้นตามที่เจ้าพนักงานบังคับคดีเห็นสมควรกำหนดไว้ล่วงพ้นไปแล้ว นับแต่เวลาที่เอกสารหรือประกาศแสดงการมอบหมายนั้นได้ปิดไว้หรือการโฆษณาหรือวิธีอื่นใดตามที่เจ้าพนักงานบังคับคดีสั่งนั้นได้ทำหรือได้ตั้งต้นแล้ว

The executing officer shall have power to serve documents relating to the execution of a judgment or order under the provisions of Title 2 of this Book, and shall include the report of such service in the execution file. In this regard, the provisions of Sections 68, 73, 74, 76, 77, 78, and 80 shall apply mutatis mutandis.
In addition to service under paragraph one, the executing officer has power to order service by registered mail with return receipt, or by domestic express mail, with the person responsible for service bearing the expenses. In such a case, a document served by a postal official shall have the same effect as if the executing officer had served it, and the provisions of Sections 74, 76, and 77 shall apply mutatis mutandis.
If service cannot be made as provided in paragraphs one and two, the executing officer has power to order service by another means instead, that is, by posting the document in a conspicuous place at the domicile or place of business of the person named in the document, or by delivering the document to an administrative or police official and then posting a notice showing that such delivery has been made, or by advertisement, or by any other means the officer considers appropriate. This shall take effect only after the lapse of fifteen days, or such longer period as the executing officer considers appropriate, counting from the time the document or the notice of delivery has been posted, or the advertisement or other means the officer has ordered has been carried out or begun.
As for service of documents on a party or a third party at that person's domicile or place of business outside the Kingdom, if there is no international agreement to which Thailand is a party providing otherwise, the executing officer has power to order service by international express mail or by an international parcel-delivery operator, or through the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If this cannot be done because the domicile and place of business of such person are unknown or for any other reason, or where service on the party or third party has been carried out but the result cannot be ascertained, the executing officer, if the officer considers it appropriate, has power to order service by another means instead, that is, by posting the document in a conspicuous place at the office of the executing officer, or by advertisement, or by any other means the officer considers appropriate.

Section 280 equips the executing officer with a full toolkit for serving execution documents, within Book 4, Title 2, Part 6. Its first paragraph plugs enforcement service into the Code's general service provisions, Sections 68, 73, 74, 76, 77, 78, and 80, applied mutatis mutandis, and requires a service report in the execution file. The remaining paragraphs modernise and widen the options: registered or domestic express mail with the same effect as officer service, alternative service by posting, delivery to officials with notice, or advertisement taking effect after fifteen days, and a dedicated regime for service abroad by international mail or courier, or through the Ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs, with fallback alternative service where that fails.
