ในคดีผู้สลักหลังทั้งหลายฟ้องไล่เบี้ยกันเองและไล่เบี้ยเอาแก่ผู้สั่งจ่ายแห่งตั๋วเงิน ท่านห้ามมิให้ฟ้องคดีเมื่อพ้นเวลาหกเดือนนับแต่วันที่ผู้สลักหลังเข้าถือเอาตั๋วเงินและใช้เงิน หรือนับแต่วันที่ผู้สลักหลังนั้นเองถูกฟ้อง

English translation
No action by endorsers against one another, or against the drawer of a bill, may be brought after six months from the day on which the endorser took up and paid the bill, or from the day on which he was himself sued.
