Article 1524: Compensation where a spouse provoked the ground for divorce

ถ้าเหตุแห่งการหย่าตามมาตรา ๑๕๑๖ (๓) (๔) หรือ (๖) เกิดขึ้นเพราะฝ่ายผู้ต้องรับผิดชอบก่อให้เกิดขึ้นโดยมุ่งประสงค์ให้อีกฝ่ายหนึ่งไม่อาจทนได้ จึงต้องฟ้องหย่า อีกฝ่ายหนึ่งมีสิทธิได้รับค่าทดแทนจากฝ่ายที่ต้องรับผิด

English translation
If the ground of action for divorce under Section 1516 (3), (4) or (6) has arisen through an act of the party at fault with the intention to make the other party so intolerable that action for divorce has to be entered, the other party is entitled to compensation from the party at fault.
