ใบรับ ใบตราส่ง หรือเอกสารอื่น ๆ ทำนองนั้นก็ดี ซึ่งผู้ขนส่งออกให้แก่ผู้ส่งนั้น ถ้ามีข้อความยกเว้นหรือจำกัดความรับผิดของผู้ขนส่งประการใด ท่านว่าความนั้นเป็นโมฆะ เว้นแต่ผู้ส่งจะได้แสดงความตกลงด้วยชัดแจ้งในการยกเว้นหรือจำกัดความรับผิดเช่นว่านั้น

Where a receipt, a bill of lading or any similar document issued by the carrier to the consignor contains a term excluding or limiting the carrier's liability, that term is void, unless the consignor expressly agreed to the exclusion or limitation.
