ท่านห้ามมิให้ใช้สิทธิไถ่ทรัพย์สินซึ่งขายฝากเมื่อพ้นเวลาดังจะกล่าวต่อไปนี้ (๑) ถ้าเป็นอสังหาริมทรัพย์ กำหนดสิบปีนับแต่เวลาซื้อขาย (๒) ถ้าเป็นสังหาริมทรัพย์ กำหนดสามปีนับแต่เวลาซื้อขาย

English translation
The right of redemption of property sold with right of redemption may not be exercised after the expiry of the following periods:
(1) for immovable property, ten years from the time of the sale;
(2) for movable property, three years from the time of the sale.
