Les copropriétaires sont présumés avoir le droit de gérer le bien en commun. Les questions de gestion courante sont décidées à la majorité des copropriétaires. Toutefois, chaque copropriétaire peut accomplir un acte de gestion courante, sauf décision contraire de la majorité ; il peut en tout état de cause accomplir des actes de conservation. Toutes les questions importantes de gestion doivent être décidées à la majorité des copropriétaires, qui doivent également représenter au moins la moitié de la valeur du bien. Un changement d'objet ne peut être décidé qu'avec le consentement unanime des copropriétaires.
